The University of Arizona Concessions Stand operated by band student and parent volunteers, is one of our most successful fundraisers. It operates at all UofA home football games providing stadium meal items such as hot dogs, pizza and drinks to the amazing fans at the game.
We are always in need of volunteers! If we can not staff the stand then we lose it!
Who: To volunteer or get more info, reach out to Katie Robertson on the Sahuaro High School Bands Facebook page. Click on the Facebook logo at the top left corner of the site to go directly there!
When: During UofA home football games and special stadium events
Where: We typically meet at Sahuaro High School and carpool to the stadium. Reach out to Katie Robertson if you need to carpool so we can arrange appropriate transportation to the game.
Time: Time varies based on event – we frequently meet at Sahuaro around 3pm and get home around 11:30pm. NOTE: some games last longer than others it is not uncommon to get home well after 11pm.
How much does the band receive? We get a percentage of the cut. The more we sell the more we make.
- Volunteers need to be 16 years of age or older with valid photo ID showing birth date
- Wear a plain red or red UofA logo shirt
- Wear appropriate jeans or long shorts (no short shorts)
