In an attempt to defer the cost of the Holiday Bowl trip in December, we have organized the following fund raisers. Flyers are in the processes of being made and will be posted on our website.
1) ROBEK’S - SW corner Houghton and Broadway

Driving around in this hot weather sure makes you thirsty. Why not stop by Robek’s and pick up a nice thirst-quenching drink. Robek’s will donate 20% of all transactions to Sahuaro Band.

For all your band camp and back-to-school needs go to Big 5. Big 5 will donate 5% of all transactions to Sahuaro Band.

3) RUBIO’S FRESH MEXICAN GRILL-Park Mall
Sunday, July 20, 2008 – 1:00 -6:00 p.m.
Hey if you are at the mall shopping, meeting friends or going to a movie, stop by Rubio’s and pick up a snack. Rubio’s will donate 20% of all transactions to Sahuaro Band.

5) CARWASH
August 23, 2008 – 9:00 – 12:00 at the following locations:
Catalina Mart located at Broadway & Kolb
Catalina Mart located at Broadway & Houghton
Mr. Kinnaman will have sign-up sheets in the band room on the first day of class. We need 10 students and at least 2 parents for supervision at each location.

It has been agreed to by the Executive Board that all monies raised by the above fund raisers will be tagged strictly for the Holiday Bowl trip. We do not expect that everyone will attend all of these fund raisers, it certainly would be nice, but we are hopeful that each student and their parents along with your friends, Aunts Uncles, Grandparents, etc. will support our band by attending at least 3 of these fund raisers. Remember, the more money we raise, the less we will have to pay for the trip.
